个人履历：
何中虎：男，1963年7月出生，陕西蒲城人，中国工程院院士，美国作物学会会士，美国农学会会士，中国农业科学院作物科学研究所研究员、博士生导师，国家小麦改良中心主任，中国农业科学院科技创新工程小麦亲本创制与新品种选育团队首席科学家，国际玉米小麦改良中心中国办事处主任。何中虎于1980年9月至1989年7月在中国农业大学攻读学士、硕士和博士学位；1989年7月至1990年10月在北京市农林科学院任助理研究员；1990年10月至1992年9月在国际玉米小麦改良中心从事博士后研究；1992年9月至1993年4月在美国堪萨斯州立大学从事博士后研究；1993年5月在中国农业科学院作物科学研究所工作；2025年当选为中国工程院院士。主要研究方向为小麦遗传育种，紧紧围绕国家三农发展战略开展科学研究，创新发展了具有实用价值的基因标记技术和适合中国国情的小麦品质评价技术体系，为农业供给侧改革提供了关键技术支撑；建立了兼抗条锈、叶锈和白粉病的成株抗性育种新方法，为解决品种抗性频繁丧失的难题提供了理论和应用基础。获授权发明专利18项。发表SCI论文120篇。成果先后获国家科技进步一等奖（排名第一）、二等奖（排名第一）和创新团队奖（排名第二）各一项，获中华农业科技奖一等奖二项（皆排名第一）。2010年获光华科技奖；2012年获中华农业英才奖；2017年获全国创新争先奖章；2020年获评全国先进工作者；2026年7月，被授予“全国优秀共产党员”称号。
