中央党校教授、博士生导师，中央党校原副校长，中央党校史上第二位女副校长，现任中国国家创新与发展战略研究会会长、学术委员会常务副主席。
人物履历：
徐伟新，女，1956年1月生，山东临沂人，中共党员；1972年4月高中毕业后，先后在解放军长山要塞区后勤部、山东省测绘局工作；
1978年后，先后就读于山东师范大学政治系、华南师范大学哲学所、中共中央党校理论部（现为研究生院），分别获教育学学士、哲学硕士、哲学博士学位；1985年硕士毕业后，曾短期在中国人民大学哲学系执教；1988年中央党校博士毕业后留校工作，同年评定为讲师；1991年破格晋升副教授；1994年破格晋升教授；1991年至2011年，历任中共中央党校哲学部历史唯物主义教研室副主任，中共中央党校理论研究室副主任，《中国党政干部论坛》副总编，《理论动态》副总编，《党校报》总编，《学习时报》总编兼社长、进修部主任、培训部主任等职。2011年1月，中央明确徐伟新为副部级干部；2012年4月5日，任中共中央党校副校长；2012年5月，任中共中央党校副校长、机关党委书记；2016年10月，不再担任中共中央党校副校长、机关党委书记。兼任十几所省市党校、大专院校客座教授，中国社会主义辩证法研究会副会长等。享有突出贡献专家政府特殊津贴，全国妇联第八、九、十届中央执行委员，第十一届常务委员。
Xu Weixin, female, born in January 1956, from Linyi, Shandong, member of the Communist Party of China; After graduating from high school in April 1972, he successively worked in the Logistics Department of the Changshan Fortress Area of the People's Liberation Army and the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Surveying and Mapping.
After 1978, he studied at the Department of Political Science of Shandong Normal University, the Institute of Philosophy of South China Normal University, and the Theory Department of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (now a graduate school), and obtained a bachelor's degree in education, a master's degree in philosophy, and a doctorate degree in philosophy, respectively. After graduating with a master's degree in 1985, he taught in the Department of Philosophy of Chinese People's University for a short time. In 1988, after graduating from the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, he stayed on to work and was rated as a lecturer in the same year. In 1991, he was promoted to associate professor. He was promoted to professor in 1994. From 1991 to 2011, he successively served as Deputy Director of the Historical Materialism Teaching and Research Department of the Philosophy Department of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Deputy Director of the Theoretical Research Office of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Forum of Chinese Party and Government Cadres, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Theoretical Dynamics, Editor-in-Chief of the Party School Newspaper, Editor-in-Chief and President of the Study Times, Director of the Advanced Education Department, and Director of the Training Department. In January 2011, the Central Committee identified Xu Weixin as a deputy ministerial-level cadre; On April 5, 2012, he was appointed as the vice president of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China; In May 2012, he was appointed as Vice President of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. In October 2016, he ceased to serve as the vice president of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the secretary of the party committee of the organ. He is also a visiting professor of more than a dozen provincial and municipal party schools and colleges and universities, and the vice president of the Chinese Socialist Dialectics Research Association.
学术成果：
徐伟新长期从事马克思主义哲学和社会历史哲学研究，在哲学教学、科研方面造诣深厚，享有突出贡献专家政府特殊津贴。曾主持、参与国家级、校级等多项科研项目。主要科研成果有《社会动力论》、《社会主义社会发展动力论》、《新社会动力观》、《在历史的转折中》、《中国和平发展新道路之历史比较》、《马克思主义妇女解放与发展概论》等专著，其中《社会主义社会发展动力论》入选由中国社会科学出版社出版的中国社会科学博士论文文库，曾再版三次，被《人民日报》评论为“视角独特，具有填补空白性质的著作”；合作论著十多部，发表论文百余篇。其中不少观点和提法被党的文件所吸收且为社会广泛流传。研究的关注点从纯学术领域转向现实领域，转向对重大现实问题的理性思考，尤其是对国家的重大政策取向、发展趋势进行理论前瞻性研究。关于党的基本路线一百年不动摇、关于马克思主义生命力以及科学理性论等文章，在社会上引起较大反响。曾为第四届世界妇女大会NGO“妇女与参政”论坛主旨发言人。
获奖情况：
多次获中央党校科研成果奖，论文多次获全国报刊理论文章一等奖等奖项。1991—1996年连续获中央党校教学优秀奖，此后多次获中央党校先进工作者荣誉称号，被评为中直机关妇女干部“十杰”。
