个人履历：
陈学东：男，1964年8月出生，安徽铜陵人，特种设备设计制造与运行维护工程科技专家，中国工程院院士，合肥通用机械研究院院长，中国机械工业集团有限公司党委常委、副总经理、总工程师，享受国务政府特殊津贴。兼任：中国科学技术协会副主席，国家制造强国战略咨询委员会委员、国家产业基础专家委员会主任委员，国务院安委会专家咨询委员会特种设备专业委员会副主任委员、国家市场总局特种设备安全与节能技术委员会副主任委员，中国特种设备安全与节能促进会会长，中国机械工程学会副理事长。1986年从浙江大学化工机械与设备专业毕业，之后进入合肥通用机械研究所工作；1994年至1996年担任合肥通用机械研究所研究室（部）主任；1995年获得浙江大学化工过程机械专业硕士学位；1996年至1997年担任合肥通用机械研究所研究部主任；1997年至1999年担任合肥通用机械研究所所长助理，兼研究部主任；1999年至2008年担任合肥通用机械研究所（院）副所（院）长；2003年担任国家压力容器与管道安全工程技术研究中心主任；2004年获得浙江大学化工工程机械专业博士学位；2008年担任合肥通用机械研究院院长；2015年当选为中国工程院院士；2019年担任中国机械工业集团有限公司党委常委、副总经理。长期从事压力容器与管道安全工程技术的研究与应用。突破极端条件下压力容器设计、制造与维护关键难题，为中国重大承压设备自主设计制造和压力容器万台设备年事故率逐年下降做出了重要工作。授权发明专利20多项；先后发表论文200余篇（其中SCI、EI论文80余篇）。研究成果先后获得国家科技进步一等奖1项、二等奖5项。荣获中国青年科技奖、何梁何利基金科学与技术进步奖、安徽省科学技术奖重大科技成就奖等。
Chen Xuedong: Male, born in August 1964 in Tongling, Anhui. He is an expert in the engineering technology of special equipment design, manufacturing, and operation maintenance, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the director of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, and a member of the Party Committee, deputy general manager, and chief engineer of China National Machinery Industry Corporation. He also serves as the vice chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology, a member of the National Manufacturing Strong Country Strategy Advisory Committee, chairman of the National Industrial Foundation Expert Committee, deputy chairman of the Special Equipment Professional Committee of the State Council Safety Committee Expert Advisory Committee, deputy chairman of the Special Equipment Safety and Energy-saving Technology Committee of the State Market Administration, president of the China Special Equipment Safety and Energy-saving Promotion Association, and vice chairman of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society.
He graduated from Zhejiang University in 1986 with a degree in Chemical Machinery and Equipment, and then joined Hefei General Machinery Research Institute. From 1994 to 1996, he served as director of a research office at the institute. In 1995, he obtained a master's degree in Chemical Process Machinery from Zhejiang University. From 1996 to 1997, he was director of the research department, and from 1997 to 1999, he worked as assistant director of the institute while still serving as research department director. Between 1999 and 2008, he was deputy director of the institute. In 2003, he became director of the National Pressure Vessel and Pipeline Safety Engineering Technology Research Center. He earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering Machinery from Zhejiang University in 2004. In 2008, he was appointed director of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, and in 2015, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. In 2019, he became a member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of China National Machinery Industry Corporation.
He has long been engaged in research and application of pressure vessel and pipeline safety engineering technology. He has overcome key challenges in the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of pressure vessels under extreme conditions, significantly contributing to autonomous design and manufacturing of major Chinese pressure equipment and leading to a year-on-year decrease in accident rates for tens of thousands of pressure vessels. He holds over 20 authorized invention patents and has published more than 200 papers (including over 80 SCI and EI papers). His research achievements have won the First Prize of National Science and Technology Progress and five Second Prizes. He has also received awards such as the China Youth Science and Technology Award, the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Anhui Province Major Scientific and Technological Achievement Award.
