中国工程院院士，第十四全国政协委员，中国工程院原副院长
个人履历：
陈左宁：女，1957年10月出生，北京人，计算机工程技术专家，中国工程院院士，第十四届全国政协委员，中国工程院原副院长，享受国务院政府特殊津贴。毕业于浙江大学计算机应用技术专业，工学硕士。主要从事计算机体系结构和系统软件研究。自1979年以来，先后参加或领导多台国产高性能计算机系统研制工作，主持研制了多套国产大型系统软件项目，其中80年代领导研制了我国第一个与UNIX系统完全兼容的并行操作系统，在并行处理技术方面达到国际先进水平。出版专著（译著等）2 部。两次获得国家科技进步特等奖、两次获得国家科技进步一等奖。获得中国青年科技奖、国家有突出贡献的优秀中青年专家、求是奖、中国青年科学家奖等。第十届全国人大代表，第十七届、十八届中央候补委员。
