个人履历：
宁光，1963年6月出生，山东滨州人，内分泌代谢病学专家，中国工程院院士，上海交通大学医学院附属瑞金医院院长、教授、博士生导师，上海交通大学光启讲席教授，上海市内分泌代谢病研究所所长、上海市内分泌代谢病临床医学中心主任和国家代谢性疾病临床医学研究中心主任，国务院特殊津贴获得者、教育部优秀骨干教师、上海市领军人才、国家八部委新世纪百千万工程国家级人才、国家自然基金杰出青年。兼任中国医师协会内分泌代谢医师分会会长、《中华内分泌代谢杂志》总编辑、“Journal of Diabetes”共同主编及国际内分泌学会执委会委员。1987年毕业于山东医科大学医学系，曾任上海第二医科大学附属瑞金医院内分泌代谢科主任，上海市内分泌代谢病临床医学中心主任，上海第二医科大学附属瑞金医院生物医学研究院副院长，山东第一医科大学校长等职。宁光长期致力于内分泌代谢病临床与科研工作，在内分泌肿瘤及糖尿病的诊治与研究领域取得创新性成果 ，同时致力于遗传机制研究，发现多发性内分泌腺瘤病1型、胰岛细胞瘤与肾上腺库欣综合征发病机制及致病基因，基于研究成果提出三类十种分子分型方法，规范并优化临床诊疗方案；通过大型队列创建生物样本库的研究模式，揭示中国糖尿病严峻形势及危险因素，并提出糖尿病及其大血管病变的临床防治新方案。先后主持国家科技支撑计划、国家自然科学基金委创新研究群体、国家重点基础研究发展计划（973计划）等课题20余项；先后在Science、JAMA等SCI收录杂志发表论文300余篇；出版《临床内分泌学》《中国糖尿病回顾与展望》《内分泌学高级教程》《瑞金内分泌疑难病例选》等学术著作及教材10多部。作为第一完成人曾获国家科技进步奖二等奖、上海市科技进步一等奖1次、二等奖2次。获评中国医师奖、吴阶平医药创新奖、美国临床内分泌医师协会International Endocrinology Award、何梁何利基金奖科学与技术进步奖（医学、药学奖）。
