张建伟:男,1963年11月出生于河南省郑州市,机器人和人工智能专家,中国工程院外籍院士、德国国家工程院院士、德国汉堡科学院院士,德国汉堡大学信息学科学系教授、多模态智能机器人系统研究所所长,清华大学杰出访问教授。兼任:多个国际机器人及智能控制会议的专业组织委员,多份国际专业杂志编辑,IEEE Robotics Automation Society CAB A-VP。1986年获得清华大学学士学位;1989年获得清华大学硕士学位;1994年获得卡尔斯鲁厄大学博士学位;1994年9月-2001年9月德国比勒菲尔德大学助理教授;2001年10月任德国汉堡大学计算机系终身正教授;2019年12月受聘为清华大学杰出访问教授;2021年当选德国国家工程院院士,2023年当选中国工程院外籍院士。多年从事及领导智能系统的感知、学习和规划、多传感信息处理与融合、跨模态信息表达、机器人操作系统、多模态人机交互等方向的研究,为工业4.0、未来出行、康复医疗、家庭助老服务等应用领域提供强人工智能的理论框架与计算模型,并领导智能系统的感知学习和规划、多传感信息处理与融合、复杂物体抓取与操作、智能机器人技术、人机交互的研究与开发等研发方向。主持德国科学基金重点项目、联邦教研部与工业合作项目、欧盟ICT、中德跨学科重大研究中心等多项重大机器人研究项目;主持中德NSFC/DFG跨学科重大研究中心NSFC/DFG"跨模态学习"等项目;拥有50余项发明专利,发表500余篇论文及专著,并多次获得国际会议最佳论文奖。
Zhang Jianwei: Male, born in November 1963 in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. He is an expert in robotics and artificial intelligence, a foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a member of the German National Academy of Engineering, and a member of the Hamburg Academy of Sciences. He is a professor in the Department of Informatics at the University of Hamburg, Director of the Institute of Multimodal Intelligent Robotic Systems, and a distinguished visiting professor at Tsinghua University. He also serves as a professional committee member for multiple international robotics and intelligent control conferences, editor for several international professional journals, and A-VP of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society CAB. He obtained a bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University in 1986; a master's degree from Tsinghua University in 1989; and a doctoral degree from Karlsruhe University in 1994. From September 1994 to September 2001, he was an assistant professor at Bielefeld University in Germany. In October 2001, he was appointed full professor with tenure in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Hamburg. In December 2019, he was appointed as a distinguished visiting professor at Tsinghua University. He was elected a member of the German National Academy of Engineering in 2021 and a foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2023. For many years, he has been engaged in and led research in intelligent systems on perception, learning and planning, multi-sensor information processing and fusion, cross-modal information representation, robotic operating systems, and multimodal human-computer interaction. His work provides theoretical frameworks and computational models of strong artificial intelligence for application areas including Industry 4.0, future mobility, rehabilitation medicine, and at-home elderly care. He has led research directions in perception learning and planning for intelligent systems, multi-sensor information processing and fusion, complex object grasping and manipulation, intelligent robotics technologies, and human-computer interaction. He has presided over numerous major robotics research projects including German Research Foundation key projects, federal education and industry cooperation projects, EU ICT projects, and Sino-German interdisciplinary major research centers; he has also led projects such as the Sino-German NSFC/DFG interdisciplinary major research center project 'Cross-modal Learning'. He holds more than 50 invention patents, has published over 500 papers and monographs, and has won multiple best paper awards at international conferences.
