中国科学院院士，香港中文大学化学讲座教授
个人履历：
黄乃正：男，1950年11月25日出生于香港，籍贯广东台山，有机化学家，中国科学院院士、发展中国家科学院院士、香港科学院创院院士，英国皇家化学学会院士，香港中文大学化学讲座教授、博士生导师，中国科学院上海有机化学研究所沪港化学合成联合实验室管理委员会主席，深圳南方科技大学长期杰出客座教授。1973年从香港中文大学化学系毕业；1976年获得英国伦敦大学学院哲学博士学位，之后到美国哈佛大学从事博士后研究；1980年至1982年担任中国科学院上海有机化学研究所副研究员 [9]；1982年至1983年担任香港理工学院讲师；1983年进入香港中文大学任教，先后担任讲师、高级讲师、教授；1994年获得伦敦大学学院科学博士学位；1995年至1997年担任香港中文大学化学系系主任；1999年当选为中国科学院院士；2002年至2010年担任香港中文大学新亚书院院长；2004年当选为发展中国家科学院院士；2009年至2013年担任香港中文大学副校长；2012年至2018年担任香港中文大学理学院院长；2014年至2020年担任香港中文大学新亚书院院长；2015年当选香港科学院创院院士；2018年担任香港中文大学荣休化学讲座教授。黄乃正院士主要从事有机合成研究，包括天然分子全合成、非天然分子合成和性质、铁催化锂试剂交叉偶联、含手性四苯并环辛四烯骨架超分子化学等。在研究课题“高张力分子的合成化学”上取得了多项成果，合成了多个在有机化学理论中有极其重要理论意义而难度极高的分子。曾获邀于国际及內地各化学研讨会作大会及特邀报告八十多次，迄今共发表文章逾二百七十篇。获国家自然科学二等奖、香港裘槎基金会杰出研究奖等。
