中国工程院外籍院士，香港中文大学（深圳）校长学勤讲座教授、副校长
个人履历：
朱世平：男，1959年出生于浙江遂昌，高分子材料化工专家，中国工程院外籍院士、发展中国家科学院院士、加拿大皇家科学院院士、加拿大工程院院士，美国化学工程师学会会士，香港中文大学（深圳）校长学勤讲座教授、副校长，深圳先进高分子材料研究院创院院长。兼任中国化工学会副理事长。1982年从浙江大学化工系石油化工专业毕业并留校工作，1991年获加拿大麦克马斯特大学博士学位，1994年起任教该校化工系和材料系，2009至2014年任化工系主任，2015年获“杰出大学教授”最高荣誉称号，2016年获加拿大化工学会最高奖R.S. Jane Memorial Award ；2017年入职香港中文大学（深圳），担任讲座教授、副校长、深圳先进高分子材料研究院创院院长；2025年当选为中国工程院外籍院士。朱世平院士长期从事高分子化工与材料教学科研工作，专长：聚合反应工程，在茂金属催化溶液法烯烃聚合、可控自由基聚合、聚合反应过程数学建模及工业应用等方面做出了开创性工作。在国际学术刊物上发表论文350多篇，引用上万次。
