谭铁牛
中国科学院院士,研究员,第十四届全国政协常委
个人履历:
谭铁牛:男,1963年10月出生,湖南茶陵人,模式识别与计算机视觉专家,中国科学院院士、英国皇家工程院外籍院士、发展中国家科学院院士,教授、博士生导师,南京大学党委书记,中国科学院自动化研究所智能感知与计算研究中心主任,第十四届全国政协常委。1984年获西安交通大学学士学位,1986年和1989年分别获英国帝国理工学院硕士与博士学位。1989年至1997年在英国雷丁大学计算机科学系工作任教。1998年回国到中科院自动化所工作,曾任中国科学院自动化研究所所长、中国科学院副秘书长、中国科学院副院长、中央人民政府驻香港特别行政区联络办公室副主任。2022年9月,任南京大学党委书记。2023年3月,任第十四届全国政协常委。2023年9月,担任中国侨联副主席。2025年6月,当选为南京大学第十二届委员会委员、常务委员会委员、书记。主要从事图像处理、计算机视觉和模式识别等相关领域的研究工作,目前的研究主要集中在生物特征识别、图像视频理解和信息内容安全等三个方向。主持过一批由国家基金委、国家杰出青年基金、国家973计划、863计划、国际合作计划等资助的科研项目。现已出版编(专)著15部并在主要的国内外学术期刊和国际学术会议上发表论文700多篇,获准和申请发明专利160多项。曾获中国青年五四奖章、中国青年科技奖以及国家自然科学二等奖、国家技术发明二等奖和国家科技进步二等奖各1项。先后当选中共十六大、十七大、十八大和十九大党代表。
