个人履历：
郭毅可：男，1962年出生于上海市，计算机科学家，中国工程院外籍院士、英国皇家工程院院士、欧洲科学院院士、香港工程科学院院士，香港科技大学首席副校长、计算机科学及工程学系讲座教授。1980年考入清华大学计算机系计算机专业，1985年获得计算机科学一级荣誉学士学位，并成为首批清华硕博联读生；1987年被公派至英国留学；1994年获得英国帝国理工学院计算逻辑博士学位；2002年成为帝国理工学院计算机系教授；2014年创建帝国理工学院数据科学研究所，并被任命为所长；2015年至2019年兼任上海大学计算机工程与科学学院院长；2016年获聘英国计算机科学皇家特聘教授；2018年当选为英国皇家工程院院士和欧洲科学院院士；2020年1月担任香港浸会大学副校长（研究及拓展）；2021年当选为香港工程科学院院士；2023年3月获得2022年度吴文俊人工智能科学技术奖杰出贡献奖；2025年当选为中国工程院外籍院士。郭毅可教授的主要研究领域为大规模科学应用的数据挖掘，例如分布式数据挖掘方法、机器学习，以及信息学系统于生物学、化学、地球物理学、医疗保健、环境、经济、金融、社交媒体、创意设计及安全等方面的应用。先后发表了250多篇文章、论文和报告；出版《人工智能与未来社会发展》等著作。在“发现网”的2002年超级计算会议上获得“最具创新性数据密集型应用奖”，还获得2014年U-BIOPRED的Bio-IT世界“最佳实践奖”和2017年ACM SIGMM的“最佳开源软件奖”。
Guo Yike: Male, born in 1962 in Shanghai, a computer scientist, foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (UK), member of the European Academy of Sciences, and fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences. He is the Vice-President and Chief Academic Officer of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Chair Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. In 1980, he was admitted to the Department of Computer Science at Tsinghua University to study computer science, and in 1985 he received a first-class honors bachelor’s degree in computer science, becoming one of the first students in Tsinghua’s combined master’s and PhD program; in 1987, he was sent to study in the UK on a government scholarship; in 1994, he received a PhD in Computational Logic from Imperial College London; in 2002, he became a professor in the Department of Computing at Imperial College; in 2014, he founded the Data Science Institute at Imperial College and was appointed director; from 2015 to 2019, he concurrently served as Dean of the School of Computer Engineering and Science at Shanghai University; in 2016, he was appointed a Royal Academy of Engineering Chair Professor of Computer Science; in 2018, he was elected a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and a member of the European Academy of Sciences; in January 2020, he became Vice-President (Research and Development) of Hong Kong Baptist University; in 2021, he was elected a fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences; in March 2023, he received the 2022 Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award for Outstanding Contribution; and in 2025, he was elected a foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Professor Guo Yike’s main research areas are data mining for large-scale scientific applications, including distributed data mining methods, machine learning, and applications of informatics systems in biology, chemistry, geophysics, healthcare, environment, economics, finance, social media, creative design, and security. He has published more than 250 articles, papers, and reports, and has authored books such as "Artificial Intelligence and Future Social Development." He won the "Most Innovative Data-Intensive Application Award" at the 2002 Supercomputing Conference held by "Discover Network," as well as the "Best Practice Award" at the 2014 U-BIOPRED Bio-IT World and the "Best Open Source Software Award" at ACM SIGMM in 2017.
