个人履历:
吴立新:男,1966年出生,安徽桐城人,物理海洋学家,中国科学院院士,发展中国家科学院院士,中国海洋大学副校长,崂山实验室主任,教授、博士生导师,第十四届全国人民代表大会常务委员会委员,教育部“长江学者”,国家杰出青年基金获得者,国家自然科学基金委创新群体学术带头人,山东省“泰山学者”特聘教授。兼任国际CLIVAR太平洋科学指导委员会委员、国际PICES太平洋气候变化与变率科学委员会委员、国际CLIVAR NPOCE计划科学指导委员会委员。1988年本科毕业于清华大学工程力学系,1991年获得北京大学力学系硕士学位,1994年获得北京大学力学系博士学位;1994-1995年于美国新泽西州Rutgers大学航天和机械工程系作博士后研究,1995-1998年于美国威斯康新大学麦迪逊分校大气和海洋科学系作博士后研究,1998-2005年担任美国威斯康新大学麦迪逊分校气候研究中心研究员,2005年至今担任中国海洋大学物理海洋“筑峰工程”教授。吴立新院士长期从事大洋环流与气候研究。发现了20世纪全球大洋副热带西边界流区“热斑”现象,系统阐述了副热带环流变异在太平洋气候年代际及长期变化中的作用机理并建立了相关理论,发展了能确定中-低纬海洋-大气通道在气候年代际及长期变化中作用的模式动力实验体系。作为首席科学家主持承担了国家深海大洋973项目、科技部全球变化重大研究计划等项目。在Nature, NatureGeoscience, Nature Climate Change等海洋与气候研究的国际权威杂志上发表论文80余篇。荣获国气象学会亨利斯托梅尔研究奖章、齐鲁杰出人才奖、全国五一劳动奖章、全国先进工作者、全国创新争先奖等。
